I was talking to a friend today-just catching up. She asked how I am doing. I thought about it for a few moments and I replied to her that I feel Alive.

I love that poem. Hope is eternal, right? Hope carries you through life’s storms. It keeps you warm when you’re out of your element and Hope gives, it does not receive. When you have Hope you have Faith; and with Hope and Faith you can accomplish a lot.
I recently read in the Oprah Newsletter of this courageous woman named Tererai Trent. Her story is called Hope in a Box.

Here’s the take away message. We all choose how we deal with things. I live my life with my glass ½ full 98% of the time. That was the point of my gratitude entry, and why I chose to put a different spin on what was essentially a really crappy day.

Today is the day I exchange my children with my mother-in-law. Same day, same time, each and every week. Initially this was the hardest day of the week for me. In the beginning I could not stand that I gave the children I birthed away for 78 hours whole hours.
