Wow, his month been a major dose of reality. It seems that each day has been riddled with one disappointment after another. I’ve become very discouraged and began to question my choices.
Recently I’ve had some real growth experiences. Specifically I’ve struggled at with developing my skills at work, being prepared for school, parenting my children, staying healthy – physically and emotionally and setting boundaries with my personal relationships.
I’m not used to failing. My experience is to be really good at everything I do. So, this morning as I was sitting in my bathtub lamenting over all of my recent failures, I decided that there must be a silver lining to this dark and daunting cloud.

As much as we all think we want it, many of us are convinced, deep down, that it’s wrong to be happy (or too happy). Whether the belief comes from religion, culture, or the family you were raised in, it usually leaves you feeling guilty if you’re having fun.
1. Happy people find their most golden self.
What is making you happy? Material things, shopping, approval addictions or are you engaged in a more centered cerebral happiness? Researchers say that, people that are purposefully engaged in life, (pursued self-development) weighed less, slept better, and had fewer stress hormones and markers for heart disease than others.

I was talking to a friend today-just catching up. She asked how I am doing. I thought about it for a few moments and I replied to her that I feel Alive.
